| McBride Auctioneers holds a Spring & a Fall Consignment Auction each year, one in March & one in October. A Consignment Auction is an event at which multiple individuals and/or business owners can bring their property to be auctioned. This type of auction is a perfect opportunity for both buyers & sellers. Since there are multiple consignors, it allows sellers, who might not have enough property to hold an auction of their own, to sell their items at this event.
And the large number of consignors means a wide variety of items to be auctioned, which may increase interest and the number of buyers at an auction.
As a consignor all you need to do is review the terms and conditions of listing agreement, complete a list of the items you wish to sell, then sign and return the agreement. Items can be brought to the auction site the day before that auction. If you have items of significant value (vehicles, antiques, etc.) we recommend that you consign your items early in order to have them properly advertised.
As a buyer, you will need to bring a valid ID to register.
Registration begins one hour before auction time. As soon as the winning bid is declared all items are the responsibility of the buyer and must be paid for before they can be removed from the auction site. Accepted forms of Payment are Cash, Personal and/or Business Check, Visa & Mastercard.
